I am sad to announce that Marla Singer died this morning. She was approximately 2 years old. I adopted her one year and 10 days ago. She is survived by her boyfriend Onslow.
Marla will be missed.
I am also sad to announce that Ratsputin has passed as well. Though Marla and Ratsputin never met, I am sure they would have been good friends.

If you are wondering WHY we would want to spay a solo pet rat, it is supposed to help her general attitude and lower the possibility of mammary tumors, which are common in rats.
I have been working at Blue Sky for about a month now. I really like it; their infrastructure is like an Aeron chair. Comfortable and stabalizing. So stabalizing though that I no longer spend any of my time browsing the Internet for fun projects and diversions. I only check Google Reader out of guilt, attempting to keep in touch with an old friend who just doesn’t share my values anymore. Sure, I still have interests outside of work, but my main interest at this point is work. I feel like my constant attention to my tasks will genuinely improve the film. So, in order for this blog to continue to sustain, a lot more of my posts will be like this one. Musings.
As of Friday, I have accepted a job at Blue Sky Studios in the position of Camera TD. October 16th will mark the end of my 5 years at Click 3X and a new chapter in my professional life. The feeling of leaving is comparable to going away to college; saying goodbye to people you grew with and promising not to forget them.
I look forward to different sunrises.
I adopted a rat from Petco today. Her name might be Daphne is Marla Singer, I’m not sure yet. She is very curious and friendly and will hopeful be a good friend for Bubos is now Bubos’ happy roommate. What do you think her name should be?
Please please please do yourself a favor and spend your $10 on something innovative. Yet another jewel that you can buy from Steam, AudioSurf is the most fun you can have with your music library. Like a roller coaster had frantic sex with Yoshi Cookie and the iTunes Visualizer… for ten bucks. Sorry Mac users. Hooray for Bootcamp!

I just came back from my friend Ian’s wedding in Fayetteville, NY. I was definitely one of the better weddings I have ever been to. Probably because I knew an inordinately large amount of the people attending (a whole %2, like milk, but without the dead baby cows). I have some pictures in my Photos section. They were selected with my eyes and not my heart. Oh, and they came from a digital SLR that isn’t even mine.
